Demag
Demag is a German manufacturer of of heavy equipment, mostly cranes and excavators. It was founded in 1906 (1910 under the Demag name) and has its headquarters in Duisburg, Germany.
It was taken over in 1973 by Mannesmann group, in 1999 bought by Siemens (from Vodafone), in 2002 became owned by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts (KKR).
Demag have a large range of heavy equipment like big tracks and boom cranes. Needless to say they are quite expensive to acquire. They will need insurance specific to construction, excavation and demolition machines. If your car ever happens to run into one of these grand machines, you will have to make sure that your car insurance (
